La Camerata Campbell surge en enero de 2012 a petici贸n de los residentes de Mazatl谩n, nacionales y extranjeros, de contar de forma estable con una temporada de m煤sica de c谩mara en el puerto. Como respuesta el maestro Gordon Campbell form贸 la agrupaci贸n.
Este proyecto independiente cuenta con el apoyo de la comunidad americana, del Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatl谩n; la Secretar铆a de Turismo del Estado de Sinaloa, el Instituto Sinaloense de Cultura; Proyecto Centro Hist贸rico de Mazatl谩n A.C; la Asociaci贸n de Hoteles y Empresas Tur铆sticas de Mazatl谩n y la Asociaci贸n de Hoteles "Tres Islas".
La Camerata se integra por m煤sicos residentes en el estado y solistas internacionales. En la primera temporada particip贸 el maestro violinista Rom谩n Revueltas y el maestro Campbell. En el 2013 la serie de conciertos se dedic贸 a la memoria de la promotora Jackie Peterson, y causaron sensaci贸n los hermanos Ana y Miguel Villeda, el Coro de la Comunidad de Culiac谩n y la Historia del soldado de Stravinsky.
En 2014 por primera vez la Camerata realiz贸 贸pera de c谩mara en colaboraci贸n con el ISIC en el Teatro Pablo de Villavicencio de Culiac谩n. Durante los meses de enero y febrero en Mazatl谩n el Teatro 脕ngela Peralta tuvo llenos totales, la temporada interpret贸 m煤sica barroca para flautas y trompeta. El contratenor Gamaliel Reynoso brind贸 lo mejor del repertorio de Farinelli. Adem谩s volvi贸 el Coro de la comunidad de Culiac谩n con m谩s de cien integrantes que ofrecieron La gloria de Vivaldi; el pianista fortense Hermann Fregoso ofreci贸 dos aclamados recitales; cerr贸 el ciclo de presentaciones el grupo Tiempos pasados de m煤sica sefarad铆.
El repertorio de la Camerata se basa en la m煤sica barroca, y cl谩sica. La intenci贸n es realizar un evento anual en el calendario cultural del puerto mazatleco y en otras ciudades de inter茅s tur铆stico, a la fecha se han presentado en Mochis, Culiac谩n y Mazatl谩n.
Este 2015 La Camerata inicia su ciclo de conciertos con la pianista mexicana Daniela Liebman considerada como un prodigio despu茅s de su debut en El Carnegie Hall de Nueva York, Bellas Artes y el Festival Cervantino 2014.

ABOUT
The Camerata Campbell was created in January 2012 at the request of residents of Mazatlan, locals and foreign residents, to have a permanent season of chamber music at the city. In response the teacher Gordon Campbell formed the group.
This project has the support of the American community , the Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlan ; the Ministry of Tourism of Sinaloa , the Sinaloa Institute of Culture ; Project Historic Center of Mazatlan ; the Association of Hotels, Tourism Companies of Mazatlan , Hotel Association "Las tres Islas" .
The Camerata is integrated by musicians living in the state of Sinaloa and of international soloists. In the first season the violinist Roman Revueltas and Maestro Campbell participated. In 2013 the concerts were dedicated to the memory of the promoter Jackie Peterson. The brothers Ana and Miguel Villeda, the Community Choir of Culiacan and Soldier's Tale Stravinsky caused sensation with their presentations.
In 2014 for the first time Camerata performed chamber opera in collaboration with the ISIC at the Pablo Villavicencio Theater in Culiacan. During the months of January and February in Mazatlan the Angela Peralta Theater was sold out, the season played baroque music for flute and trumpet. The countertenor Gamaliel Reynoso gave the best of the repertoire of Farinelli. Also the choir community of Culiacan with over one hundred members offered Vivaldi 's glory; the pianist Hermann Fregoso gave two acclaimed recitals; the group TiemposPasados closed the cycle with the performance of sefarad铆 music.
Camerata's repertoire is based on the Baroque and classical music. The intention is to make an annual event in the cultural calendar of Mazatlan and other touristic cities. They performed in Mochis, Culiacan and Mazatlan.
In 2015 La Camerata begins their series of concerts with the Mexican pianist Daniela Liebman, after her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York, Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Festival Cervantino 2014 .
